T4 – Relaxing walk of Prague with a boat trip (4 hours)
This tour will show you the three oldest historic towns of Prague which contain the most beautiful sights of the city. In the middle of our walk, you will enjoy a romantic boat trip on the River Vltava which takes 45 minutes. You will see the monuments of Prague from different perspectives, relax for a while and gain some energy for the rest of the tour.
Highlights of the Tour:
The Castle Town (Hradcany)
This very quiet and tiny town is full of contrasts.
You will discover its humble but picturesque houses as well as noble palaces of the local aristocracy. You will see the largest palace of Prague, the Loreto pilgrimage site and together we will admire “The City of a Hundred Spires” from the viewing terrace of the Prague Castle.
The Little Town (Malá Strana)
will show us its picturesque streets which once used to be part of the “Royal Route”, the St. Nicholas Church, a gem of Baroque architecture, centuries-old pubs with vaulted Gothic rooms and romantic courtyards. In the Little Town Square, we will see the former Town Hall of the Little Town.
A boat trip on the River Vltava
The time spent on the river will offer you the views of the best sights of Prague as the Prague Castle, the National Theatre, the Rudolfinum Concert Hall, the Charles Bridge and many others. On board, it is possible to buy drinks and small refreshments.
The Old Town (Stare Mesto)
We will see the best of the oldest town of Prague, passing the former Jesuit college named Clementinum, crossing the Jewish Quarter and visiting the charming Old Town Square dominated by the Gothic Týn Church and the beautiful Baroque St. Nicolas church.
The Historic Town Hall
The first town hall of Prague has become very popular because of its Astronomical Clock, the oldest working astronomical clock of the world. I will reveal its secrets and legends to you. You will find out about the way the clock works.
We will finish our walk in the Old Town Square.
